A rather tall, wide, and… deep looking Ca’Liar. They’re around 7’6” in height and are a respectable weight, but his fur is rather long, fluffy, and a bit curly. This makes Benjiro look much larger than he actually is.

Character Occupation: Hunter and Spirit “Tripper”
Character Personality/Traits:
A rather gregarious person, Benjiro is very happy and outgoing. His mind is always thinking about what good he can do, but it isn’t always the case. The intention to do good is there, but he doesn’t always make the right choices. This shows in his personality as he himself tries not to make any choice if he can help it. Rather, he goes with the flow of the situation and follows along with whatever orders he’s given.
However, if innocent people are to be put in harm's way, he will go out of his way to protect them. Something stemming from the atrocities of the invasion that stuck with him.
Character Biography:
Po’Ashai was born into a branch of a high family with a twin brother, the only two of the litter that survived. This branch itself was many different branches down the line to the point it was almost akin to that of a Baron. Even though they were more of a low noble birth, both he and his brother Ko’Palo were taught the ways of the Empire, war, and their obligations.
Po’Ashai was more of a free-spirited person compared to his older brother, who took the lessons and the world of politics as an interest. Where Ko’Palo spent most of his time honing his skills as a warrior, and his charismatic tongue, impressing the ladies far more often than naught, Po’Ashai spent most of his time experimenting with various plant life.
While Po’Ashai excelled in his studies of medicine and plant life, granting him his honorific, most people considered him a bit too eccentric, especially in how he studies. Po’Ashai mainly studies by testing himself, trying various plant life, learning poisons and remedies, and using the stress of potentially dying due to wrong ingestion as a way to focus more and to procrastinate less. This led him to “learn” many things during his hallucinations, but in reality, it was more akin to dumb luck than anything when treating certain people. Plenty died, but they were not quite important enough members of society to draw too much attention, not to mention, that the concept of medicine was far from perfect.
Nonetheless, the brothers' paths crossed once more. Ko’Palo, who played politics quite well found himself in a much higher position in society than his brother. Marrying into plenty of power and wealth. Po’Ashai mainly stayed in a similar position, albeit there was a bit of respect achieved from his successful treatment of certain members of worth in society. They were brought together, to set forth to Acaedia, or at least, that is what Po’Ashai thought.
They landed at the port of Barkamstead, the battle was fierce and quite bloody on all sides. Both brothers survived the battle, although Ko’Palo had life-threatening injuries. Given the location not being the best, and the tools at his disposal, Po’Ashai was unable to save his brother’s life. At his return to Einar, he spent weeks away with his now widowed mother. Sulking, traumatized, grieving, and in despair for all that had happened.
That was until he was called forth to a trial. An execution was slated for him given the repentance needed for the uncivil act of war to the Kingdom of Saphriel. Though, unbeknownst to him, his mother pleaded and saved his life. It was there, that Po’Ashai was exiled. Stripped of everything he knew, he lived off with the monks.
It was with the monks, that he chose his new name, Benjiro. The monks taught him how to be at peace with all his actions, and taught him of spirits. He learned how to offer to them, how they can act, why they’re still bound, and what use they can have. Years passed as he meditated away, did copious amounts of hallucinogens and learned.
It was about two years before he stepped foot on Saphirel, that he learned of mysticism and more about Pirae. While unbeknownst to him and the monks, he had learned of their existence and their stories. It was something he decided to pursue, which is why he left only recently for Saphriel. Finishing up business on Einar and gathering the funds to purchase passage to Saphriel.
