Character Occupation: Pottery artisan
Character Personality/Traits:.
Tetsu, a self-disciplined beast at first glance, presents an imposing image that rivals even that of an orc, with a deep voice that commands attention. However, this formidable appearance is swiftly softened by a peaceful smile and a humble, approachable personality. Despite his large form, Tetsu is known for his gentle nature and willingness to extend a helping paw to those in need.
While Tetsu enjoys the art of a good spar, finding joy in peaceful sparring with his kin and standing up for the defenseless, he is not one to seek out unnecessary conflict or engage in needless violence. His combat prowess is honed through self-defense and protecting the vulnerable, rather than seeking out aggressive encounters.
As a staunch believer in the power of ki, instilled by his kenyeo-worshipping mother, Tetsu places great emphasis on cultivating his physical, mental, and ki state. He is dedicated to continuous self-improvement through meditation, nourishing his body with ample amounts of food, and harmonizing with the ki energy that surrounds him. Whether tending to his physical form through rigorous workouts, honing his martial arts skills, or simply engaging in deep meditation, Tetsu's pursuit of personal betterment is unwavering.
Tetsu's aversion to facing world-threatening malevolence reflects his preference for maintaining a sense of balance and peace, steering clear of confrontations that could jeopardize the tranquility he holds dear. Despite his imposing exterior, Tetsu's true strength lies in his unwavering commitment to inner harmony and his willingness to stand against injustice with compassion and wisdom.
Character Biography:
Prior to his arrival in this realm, Tetsu's story originated with his parents in the ca’liar homeland of Einar. His mother and father, who were childhood friends, hailed from a tranquil life in Einar. Tetsu's mother was immersed in the teachings of traditional monks, focusing on physical and spiritual mastery, while his father served as a samurai in the empire. However, as tensions escalated and orders to eradicate the monk sects were issued, the samurai chose to defy his orders, abandoning his post to rescue his childhood friend and flee on ships that ultimately landed on the shores of the Haraveth kingdom.
As refugees, Tetsu's parents settled in the new land, with his mother becoming a healer and pottery maker, and his father finding work as a sellsword. Despite their efforts to adapt to the new lifestyle, it was challenging for the family, especially with the arrival of their kits, including Tetsu, who stood out as one of the largest ca’liar in his litter.
Growing up, Tetsu and his siblings assimilated into the ways of the kingdom while learning basic eastern traditions from their parents. During a period of turmoil and constant threat from a cult outside the city walls, the family bonded over activities, only to be discovered and threatened by a cultist ghoul. In a harrowing encounter, Tetsu found the courage to defend his family, aided by his father's swordsmanship, which ultimately saved them from the ghoul.
Following this ordeal, Tetsu was determined to grow stronger and overcome his fears. His resolve was to confront the horrors that lurked beyond the walls and build the courage to confront any future threats to his family and friends.

Magic Biography:
Born with the rare gift of magic among the ca’liar, Tetsu possessed an ability that could easily lead to indoctrination by the empire for war efforts. To avoid this fate, Tetsu's mother kept her own earth magic abilities hidden, while Tetsu's father lacked any magical talent.
As Tetsu and his siblings came into the world, their mother carefully observed to see if any of them shared her gift. Tetsu was among the fortunate few who displayed an innate ability for earth magic. Growing up, he watched his mother effortlessly mold clay figures from the earth, learning the basics of earth magic from her alongside his siblings. Inspired by his mother's abilities, Tetsu began to explore the potential of magic in his pottery work, attempting to merge it with his own creations, despite the challenges and strain it posed.
In his pursuit to incorporate magic into his pottery, Tetsu navigated the complexities of melding his craft with the mystical forces, driven by his determination to harness the gift bestowed upon him and further develop his abilities in earth magic.
Please describe the magic system, including its limitations in your own words:
The magic system is a long haul of sorts. Your character starts off being able to perform only the weakest of aspects and overtime with in game training, mentoring and patience. They'll develop a more firm base to work off of. This does require genuine practice in game with the usage of trinkets and or the usage of certain races' innate ability to cast certain aspects of magic.
Magic does come with a number of limitations other than trinket usage. Some races are capable of fully learning only a number of aspects while others are able to learn three or four. Even then every race has to be cautious to not overdo it since the folly of every spellcaster is outright overcasting which can lead to killing them easily. Another important factor is a spellcaster needs to have a clear view of what they wish to cast upon, sight is one of the most important features.
Please describe how you would use a weak trinket with your characters first/only aspect:
As a wittle cub, Tetsu would spend some of his time playing in the mud. Drawing out symbols from the ca’liar language into the earth as an imprint. Even challenging his littermates to a game of 'who can nudge the stone the farthest'.
