Character Biography:
Nilharo was born approximately 28 years ago, just before the onset of the plague. He was born into a loving family, but tragically lost them during those difficult times, leaving Nilharo to navigate the world alone. However, fate smiled upon him when he was swiftly taken in by a compassionate human couple named James and Oscar. These new fathers provided him with immense care and affection, and together they resided on a quaint homestead just outside Barkhamsted. Their small family, which included a few farm animals, quickly became Nilharo's responsibility as he learned the basics of animal care, from feeding and cleaning to tending to crops when James and Oscar were occupied.
The family faced dire circumstances when the blight ravaged farms, threatening their very livelihood. During this trying period, Nilharo spent much of his time assisting wherever he could, while also endeavoring to earn a modest income to support the family. Despite the challenges, he remained determined to contribute to their well-being.
As the blight subsided, Nilharo's interests shifted towards studying animal care from a medical perspective. Though resources were scarce, he managed to grasp the fundamentals of keeping their farm animals healthy, ensuring they received proper nourishment and avoiding potential illnesses.
The farm after just managing to get back on its feet with crops growing properly and healthily was then unfortunately hit by the year-long winter that ravaged many farms, the cold weather not allowing crops to grow properly and leaving their animals more susceptible to illnesses, once again saw the homestead start to suffer again only managing to keep a few animals alive Nhilaros parents eventually moved on to other labour's to keep the family happy and healthy as best they could, even not having much they managed to always keep Nhilaro fed even if unbeknownst to him they didn't eat.
Fast forward to his twenty-fifth cycle and Nilharo has bid farewell to his adoptive parents and set out for Falkvard in pursuit of further knowledge and encounters with creatures of the wild, he does however make sure to send a little coin home each time he makes some to help his parents as they get older. He holds a fundamental belief that most animals are not inherently hostile, but rather act out of territorial instincts or maternal protection. His mission is to delve deeper into this understanding, seeking ways to coexist harmoniously with wildlife and alleviate the fear associated with the dangers of the wilderness.
The last few years in Falkvard have been quite uneventful for Nhilaro spending as little time as possible outside in the cold to make enough money to eat, they'd spend the remainder inside either reading or writing about various things, the weather was making it difficult to do any sort of practical research but being held back by the winter stopped his physical progress it didn't hold back his ambition to learn as much as he could.
