Reason or Meaning of Name:

Adalicia means 'noble', as her mother had wanted her to be a noble and upstanding person, someone that would live up to her promises. Nestor is a family name that means 'traveller', she adopted this from her stepdad.

Reason for Nickname:

Ardor - Whilst technically a nickname, it is also the name is goes by officially and means 'Passion'. It has been the name she's gone by for as long as she can remember.

Addie - A nickname she detests for no reason other than it sounds too cute, but some few people can get away with it because she's softer toward them.

Passion - Something she's had as long as she can remember.

Orchid - Ditto the above.

Kiddo - Even when she grew up this was what her stepdad would call her. It's not anything special, but it does get her teary-eyed sometimes.

Whilst beauty is subjective, this is extremely so for Ardor. Some people find her unique and distinguishing features beautiful, and alluring, and she does have the Elven family to back her beauty. But some might also find her too strange, too alien, and look at her like she's expired.

Physical disabilities:

Color blind but not in the usual sense, needs very special eye-glasses to see. She can only see in vivid, vibrant colours otherwise. One of her fingers on her right hand was bitten off so she has a lesser grip without her prosthetic and has had to adapt to holding things properly or in her own way.

Tunics, belts, leggings. Stuff that fits comfortably yet fashionably. She'll wear skirts and dresses more often these days but only if there's a pair of shorts hidden underneath for her personal comfort.

Now she just wants to be able to say goodbye to the parent she actually adored the most so she can close that chapter of her life and get some closure.

Orphans. Because she and her brothers could have easily been orphans with the way their family was, she feels an obligation to help them where she can.

Even though she knows she has nothing to be ashamed of, and she's fine to openly talk about it all, it still feels embarrassing and humiliating that she let someone walk all over her and control her like that.

Non-existent, they never met. Ardor used to wish she could change that, but thinks some things are better left in the past.

How he/she feels about himself/herself:

Ardor is often at odds with herself for a lot of reasons, and sometimes is her own best friend. She can come across as cocky and vain to people, but complimenting herself is a way of reassurance where she actually normally feels very insecure. A fake-it-'til-you-make-it strategy. Occasionally she'll tell a self-deprecating joke but those closer to her know even then she speaks half-true to how she feels.

Ardor would probably describe herself as beautiful, charming, Gods' gift to mankind and all that. She's often done so, even if it's meant as a joke more than a serious suggestion though sometimes it can sound serious anyway. She'd describe herself as perfect, even if she knows it's not true and it's not how she really feels.

Ardor believes people think she's a bit nutty, a bit wild, and she's fine with that perception if they don't know everything else about her. She believes those close to her understand that with Ardor, what you see is what you get. Very honest, sometimes brutally so, but with a lot of heart and fire to give to the world

She'd love to have magic oh my gods.

Opinion of other people in general:

She's not easy to trust and that goes especially for Ca'liar, she believes everyone has light in them but dark in equal measure and that it's what they choose to do with that, that makes the person.

Not as much anymore, no. She has to be honest as per her Oath, but she tries to be respectful about it. Key word; tries.

Deacon Fairweather, but it's hard to say she wholly hates him either. In some aspects, she sees him as an old friend. In other words it's the most complicated case of Stockholm Syndrome I ever did see. She loathes him, she fears him, she's curious and feels good things about him, and it's dangerous.
