+ Strimlet thanks us for our help last week, with the work done there allowing us to reach out to more villages, but we're spread thin still.
+ Strimlet specifically had a problem with the well water, a creature coming to life from it and making it dangerous to consume. The creature was not hostile but it became a situation of one or the other. The creature was scared but focused on not causing further harm until the end. This is what led to a number of similar situations being resolved elsewhere.
+ Help was provided to Angel Creek, Barkamstead, and some areas around the Order and Veidrheim, near Fort Evergreen. Argys was fine.
+Elsewhere, outside of Strimlet, a mercenary company had taken up an abandoned Fort. It was led by a half-dark elf going by Condottiere Frundsberg. They had many hostages that were released thanks to Ser Bakreal. The mercenary company(turned bandits) is at large, about thirty to forty strong, having taken boats out of the fort.
+ The group will have a collective bounty of 100 silver and while bringing them back alive is preferred, if they fight back that is their own choice.
+ The last group of volunteers that went out to help investigate a house that had oddities such as water drifting in it as well as other small effects. A lab was on site, likely used for illegal life alteration experiments. Notes were found from a researcher named Ziv, as well as relics that will likely be committed to the Explorer's Guild to keep these items safe. The Explorer's Guild will reach out about this soon if not already handled.
+ Information was found that the device was indeed there but moved with Ziv to a place named Vasserbunde, the whaler island. There have been attempts to find this place for a long time, and whalers have been hostile in the past so this is another problem to solve.
+ While there, a doctor who seemed to be an illegal Alterationist was encountered, and asked to reach out to the guard. Will most likely not be happening so please put in a report if you run into a creepy traveling doctor.
Questions:
Is there a lead on where Vasserbunde may be? Answer: Yes. We will not reveal this here.
2) Do you recommend boiling water for within the city, or is it just outlying towns? Answer: Anyone in any situation should clean their water by boiling it first.
3) What about Wilusa? This place was mentioned by the surgeon as having nothing left buy a lighthouse. Answer: An old city that died long before the war. Also, for the lighthouse, avoid it with no questions asked if you find one alone. It will kill you.
3) Any update on Colel and Gregory from last month? Answer: No. +We're taking topics or suggestions for what to cover from readers! If interested, please letter Raggins Redbeard (GlacialDawn)

For our first feature we'll be introducing a new establishment that's serving up some baked treats and
charity!
By the time we've posted this, it would have been a few weeks since last visiting the new Flour Power
Bakery, located on the corner of Ash Way and Firefly Avenue. In Miss Gwyndilyn Liv -the
proprietor's- own words, she opened up this place to feed people, bring them joy, and makes it a point to
contribute to the church and pay fairly.
We asked what she's most excited to be selling next, and she did us one better by letting us try out
three of the newest items available, all sketched above in charcoal, so handle carefully.
The fudge brownie is a warm treat, rich and moist but not under cooked on the inside, with a chocolate
chunk surprise hidden within.
The potato bread is glazed on top with honey, flaked with sage, and has blackberries in the spongy
center.
And the warm sourdough bread is the perfect texture to go with a simple spread or used to make a
sandwich.
You can get any of these warm treats now, just in time for the early weeks of Autumn as the cold sets
back in. But move early as it can quickly become standing-space only.
Happy Shopping,
Yan
