The Mage College is dedicated to researching, developing, and performing magic. The College spans a variety of topics and is open to those with or without Bothimir's Gift. We are a group of passionate people dedicated to the mysteries of the Magical world.
Guild Guidelines
Admissions
Those who wish to take part in or join the Guild as a student may reach out to Admissions, interviews may be performed in person or in writing.
You may re-apply for the College after 6 months if your previous application was denied.
Trinkets
Joining the College is free. For those hoping to rent a trinket there is a one time cost of 10 silver to rent.
Trinkets are not available for purchase. If you only wish to join the Guild for a trinket without contribution, you will be denied membership.
You may only rent one trinket at a time.
Trinkets must be returned if you attain a personal trinket of the same aspect with a level matching or stronger than your rental trinket.
Trinkets can be seized in cases of inactivity without notifying the Archmage, criminal offense, or misuse of magic
Membership Requirements
You will be considered active in the Mage College if:
You participate in the letter chain -You share or participate in research
You volunteer for Mage Guild projects
You donate to the Guild
You have informed the Archmage of your absence, with a return estimate
Failing to participate in one of these activities within a year will have you receive a notice of inactivity. Failure to respond to this notice will see you removed from the College, and any rented trinkets will be returned.
Mutual respect of your peers is a requirement for participating in Guild activities. Personal bias has no place here. Disagreements between members must be handled in private unless it concerns the whole Guild.
Respect College property. Return any books or resources borrow within six months, clean up after magical experiments, and keep your dorm clean.
Illegal activity will see you kicked from the College, especially those performed with magic. If you are concerned that someone is involved with illegal activity please inform the guard.
Classes
While classes and teachers are still being arranged, they will be marked with varying levels of difficulty:
Beginner- Basic knowledge, Feeble to Moderate magic studies.
Intermediate- Detailed knowledge, Medium to Strong magic studies, Mix Magic
Advanced-
Classes will fall into different difficulties based on the content.
