The Arena will be starting it's new wave of fights and events in the coming months. To take part in arranged tournaments and planned fights, fighters will be required to buy into it or be a sponsored fighter. As to ensure fighters can always be paid for their efforts and time in the Arena. Charity events and completely sponsored matches may require it's viewers to pay for tickets the funds of which going to the fighters or cause the match is based around.
To explain what sponsorship is, as you may expect it is someone that is supported financially by someone else. Or a fighter that has paid for their own sponsorship. In either case both being sponsored and being a sponsor to someone else has its benefits. As you might expect, sponsored fighters do not have to pay to take part in fights and will viewed as a member of the Arena. We have a few facilities within the Arena and will use them to the fullest to support our fighters.
Sponsors are another matter, those that support both the Arena and a fighter will of course have a say in fights their sponsored fighters take part in. They are also permitted to run a stall within the area store area without charge. However sponsors that wish their business promoted are expected to give a percentage of sales to the Arena and fighters they are supporting. With the Arena getting the minority of the earnings, as we wish to put a system in place to support and pay our fighters at all events. Only if no coin is flowing through the arena naturally will we be asking viewers to pay for viewing so we hope any interested sponsors can understand that sentiment.
Sponsorship at this time is 20 silver person, we realize this is a high asking price. But we believe it will deter those that simply want the benefits and not actually support the area. We also highly recommend not sponsoring yourself if you don't have a business or organization you wish promoted. While these conditions are guaranteed, we will be accepting sponsors with common sense in mind.
At this time the Arena will be hosting free training exercises to start out, then spars between those trained that will be promoted to bring in viewers and sponsors. While not required we hope to gain our first sponsored fighters and in turn sponsors through these training matches.
